Situated on the West Coast of South Africa, approximately 20km from the centre of Cape Town, Bloubergstrand has undeniably the best view of Table Mountain from anywhere in Cape Town. Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, can also be seen from the shores of Bloubergstrand's unspoiled beaches, which seem to stretch for miles along the meandering coastline. Great for sunbathing, shell collecting, relaxing and in summer, even swimming.

It is the gateway to many water sports, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, jet surfing, surfing and bodyboarding. Many National & International water sports events are held at Blouberg Beach. There are also two stunning golf courses within 10km of Bloubergstrand.
